Emily & Tyler - A Downtown Austin Wedding


Emily and Tyler’s wedding day on August 12, 2023, was one of those rare events that felt completely personal from start to finish. They were married in a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St Albert The Great in north Austin surrounded by family and friends. After the ceremony, we headed downtown for a unique reception and wedding photos at the Austin Central Public Library. The enormous stained glass windows and cozy stacks made it a unique venue to take photos in.

The mix of tradition and modern design made for a fun challenge as a photographer. I loved capturing the contrast between the classic church setting and the sleek, bright spaces of the library. Every part of the day reflected who they are as a couple: warm, thoughtful, and full of energy.
